On Friday Glen Innes school celebrated Race Relation Day.
First we had to get dressed and wait for Mr Ramkolowon to tell us when to go inside the hall and when we got in the hall we had to sit down in a circle and the parents went and sat down up on the stage.
Then it was the kapa haka group that did their performance. After that it was room 1’s turn to do their performance. Then we had to wait for Mr Naidoo to call out some kids name to do their speech and they were: Margaret, Manuela, Robin, Chloe, Shanelle, Yazmin and Limi.
Then all the teachers had to tell us where they come from and after that Mr Naidoo called all the cultures out and we had to walk up on the stage and say hi. The Tongans were the biggest group in the whole school.
